The 2010 Open Space and Recreation Plan update that we completed for the Town of Dedham has received approval from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and the Environmental Affairs. This plan will be current through August 2017.

Taintor & Associates, Inc., provides professional planning services to municipal, state and federal agencies, as well as private nonprofit organizations.

The firm has earned an excellent reputation for having a comprehensive understanding of community needs, combining knowledge of land use planning and innovative growth management practices with a pragmatic approach to implementation. The firm currently employs three professional planners at its office in Newburyport, MA and regularly teams with other experts to provide a broad range of planning-related services.

In all of our projects we work closely with staff, community volunteers, and elected officials and understand the importance of establishing communication measures that enable transparency and inclusiveness. Our range of services and breadth of experience also enable us to use a comprehensive approach to all of our projects, providing us with perspective on how individual policies and regulatory mechanisms impact (or are impacted by) a community’s entire organizational framework.
